1999 Painter Flora Natapoff, filmmaker Richard Leacock and Judith Wechsler have been friends for over 30 years. This film is, in a sense, the continuation of a conversation and a celebration of Flora’s capacity for renewal in the face of adversity.
Flora Natapoff writes, “My recent work involves a form of collage which allows the layering and juxtaposing of images I have made over time; the layering of my responses to a range of other sources which reflect the different aspects of my nature; the layering and juxtaposing of the many languages about reality which I have encountered. The interplay between all of these allows me to give an account of reality I can almost believe in.”
